Agreement

By visiting https://polycap.net (the “Site”) you agree to these terms and to the Site’s Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site. The Site is published by Affectron, LLC (“we”, “us”), 4026 Wards Road Ste G1 #114, Lynchburg VA 24502.

What the Site is

The Site describes PolyCap, an authority substrate for people, devices, and agents, and the program that builds it. Its content is informational. Status statements are dated and describe the program as of the date shown; they are not offers, warranties, or commitments to deliver any feature by any date. Specifications, vector corpora, and other materials of the conformance program are provided to partners under a separate agreement, not through the Site.

Ownership

The Site and its contents, including the PolyCap wordmark and the Affectron ring mark, are owned by Affectron, LLC or its licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law.

What you may do

You may link to any page of the Site. You may quote brief excerpts with attribution to PolyCap and a link to the source page. You may download the overview PDF for your own reference and share it unaltered. Any other reproduction, redistribution, or commercial use of the Site’s contents requires our written permission. You may not use the PolyCap or Affectron marks in a way that implies endorsement, affiliation, or conformance that has not been granted.

Acceptable use

You may not interfere with the operation of the Site, attempt to gain unauthorized access to it or to the systems that serve it, or use automated means to collect its contents at a scale that burdens it. Security researchers who find a weakness in the Site are welcome to report it to info@affectron.com.

Third-party links

The Site links to other websites that we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or their practices, and a link is not an endorsement.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Site and its contents are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Affectron, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profit, or business, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greatest extent the law allows.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Affectron, LLC against claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these terms or your unlawful use of the Site.

Submissions

If you send us ideas, feedback, or other material about PolyCap that is not covered by a written agreement, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use it. Do not send us information you regard as confidential unless we have agreed in writing to receive it.

Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Lynchburg, Virginia, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

Changes

We may revise these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the current version. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
