Who we are
PolyCap (https://polycap.net) is published by Affectron, LLC, 4026 Wards Road Ste G1 #114, Lynchburg VA 24502. Questions about this policy go to info@affectron.com. This policy governs the website only. Materials exchanged under the PolyCap conformance program are governed by the program agreement.
What this site collects
The site has no accounts, no sign-up, no comment forms, no advertising, and no analytics. It sets no cookies in your browser unless you sign in to administer it.
Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard web-server logs for each request: the requesting IP address, browser type, requested address, referring address, and time. We use these records only to operate and secure the site, and we keep them no longer than the hosting provider’s retention period.
Correspondence. If you write to info@affectron.com, we keep the message and our reply so that we can answer you and keep a record of the conversation.
That is the complete list. We do not buy, infer, or combine information about visitors from other sources.
How the information is used
To answer you, to operate and secure the site, and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone except the service providers that host the site and deliver our email, or where the law requires disclosure.
Third parties
Fonts, images, and the overview PDF are served from https://polycap.net itself; the site loads no third-party scripts, trackers, or embedded content. Where a page links to another site, that site’s own policy applies.
Your choices and rights
You may ask what correspondence we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to info@affectron.com. We answer such requests from any jurisdiction, including under the GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act, and we do not discriminate against anyone for making one.
Children
The site is not directed to children under thirteen, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has written to us, tell us at info@affectron.com and we will delete the correspondence.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS only. Correspondence is accessible to the small number of people at Affectron who need it to reply.
Changes
Changes to this policy are posted on this page with a new date at the top. Substantive changes are not applied to correspondence already received without notice.
